I built Ramen Builder while caring for my newborn and running several software projects. Long, focused sessions at my desk were no longer realistic.
I tried two mobile setups. First, I used Tailscale and Termius to run Claude Code through a terminal. Then I tried Claude Code in the Claude mobile app.
Both let me change code from my phone, but neither gave me the complete workspace I needed. I still needed previews, logs, domains, and deployments.
So I built the workspace I needed. My apps run on my own server. Previews, deploys, logs, domains and backups are in one place, and I can reach them from any device. I write the code with whatever tool I like.

Does Ramen Builder write the code for me?
No. Ramen Builder makes no AI calls of its own. You write the code in your own editor, or with an AI coding tool such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT. Ramen Builder sets up the project, then deploys and runs it on your server.
What do I need to get started?
A GitHub account and a server. Ramen Builder can create the server in your Hetzner or DigitalOcean account, or you can connect any Ubuntu server with one installation command. Websites deploy to Cloudflare Pages, so they also need a Cloudflare account. Backups go to a Backblaze B2 or Cloudflare R2 bucket in your own account.
Do I have to use a terminal?
Not if Ramen Builder creates the server — that path is entirely in the browser. Connecting a server you already own takes one command, pasted once.
Does anything run on my laptop?
Only your editor, if you use one. Your apps, the live preview and every deploy run on your server, so closing the tab stops nothing.
Does anything deploy without me?
Only if you turn on automatic deploy, which deploys each push to main. Otherwise you deploy from the dashboard. Projects created through the API or MCP start with manual deploy.
What happens if a deploy breaks production?
Checks run before every build, and a failed check stops the deploy. A failed build never replaces the running app — the old version keeps serving. If a change goes out and then misbehaves, you roll back to the previous images in one step.
Can I use my own editor or AI tool?
Yes. Every project is a normal GitHub repository. Clone it, work in any editor or with any AI coding tool, and push.
Can AI assistants use Ramen Builder?
Yes, through the API and MCP. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor with OAuth. They can create projects, open previews, publish, deploy, roll back and read logs. Nothing destructive happens without a human.
Do you see my code?
Your code lives in your GitHub repository and on your server. We hold your dashboard data and the credentials you choose to give us, encrypted with a key scoped to your organization. Secret values for your apps stay on your server.
Is there a mobile app?
Ramen Builder is a web app — there is nothing to install. You can open the live preview, review changes, publish and deploy in a mobile browser.
What happens if I cancel?
Your apps keep running on your server and your repositories stay as they are. You lose the dashboard, not the product.
